Addition day 34

We got some pictures of the completed stone.  They still had to clean up the 3rd side today but got it all done.  The inspector came out and had a punch list of things the contractor had to do before he came back and approved the inspection.  < Sigh>   The contractor told us by mid afternoon that everything was done that was required.  So hopefully inspector will be back tomorrow and we can move on.  I asked about an anticipated completion date and he said 2-3 weeks.  Let us pray!!

THIRD AND FINAL SIDE (BACK OF ADDITION)

On a separate note, we decided since all this construction is going on, we'd finally get the fence on the right side and gates replaced.  The left side was done last year when our neighbors were going to do theirs anyway (chain link but nice looking).  The back we still have our old metal fence but the folks behind us put a wood privacy fence right behind it (which looks stupid to me) but anyway the right side was the only side that needed to be replaced.

We were going to have our contractor do the work, but the quote that we have from him is from May, 2016 and we are not waiting for him (nor likely using him ever again).   So we contracted with a local fence company to do the work and they started demo today.
