Snail Wall

Hubby was clearing out a bunch of weeds along the back porch where we have a garden area well where we want to plant some flowers.  He has one side weeded already and put the weed guard down.  I went outside to check out how things were going and I saw it, a wall of snails!.  I don't know how there are that many out there.  It isn't like we live at any shore or near any lake. Here are some pictures of an area where a bunch were attached to the wall.  One is even in a knot hole in one of the back porch support posts. Just so weird!!

Artificial Meets Real..

We have an artificial Ficus tree on our back porch which is now encased with a growing vine (Morning Glory?), which reaches all the way up to the balcony above. The leaves blend in so well, you have to get fairly close up to tell the difference.
