Today the topic in our house was the weather. It is cold again and we may get some sleet/ice tomorrow and even Saturday, just sporadic though and not suppose to stick. Ugh.. Hope this is the last cold snap of the winter!
My dad is still not going #1 on his own but hopefully he will. He is getting around without need of a walker or a cane and about the same. I'm hoping in the next few weeks he can gain some more strength and maybe do some slight exercise like walking around the block. We'll see. I don't want to push him but sitting around the house isn't really building up strength either. He needs to gain about 20 pounds too, but hopefully that will happen too.
He does get tired and doesn't like to get phone calls in the evening. His own sister called him a few nights ago but he wasn't in the mood to talk. Both my folks can be very finicky. They are definitely set in their ways! Lord help us all! :-)
Well tomorrow is finally Friday. Yippee!!
