So I get these health newsletters via email and generally either skim them or delete them.  But I got one the other day that mentioned something about dental floss and cancer, so that got me curious enough to open it.  I was shocked! I don't have the newsletter anymore but a quick google search summed up what I was reading  "Flossing with Oral B Glide is linked to the toxic build-up of cancer-causing chemicals in the body, research suggests. Scientists found using the go-to brand as part of your oral-health regimen is associated with a higher level of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) chemicals in the bloodstream." The article also mentioned a specific toothpaste that can contain these same chemicals, Colgate Total, ALSO what I use.  Well that is just terrific! I use both of them and several times a day and have for years. I am someone who strives to eat healthy foods, including a morning smoothie, and I exercise 6 days a week, maintain a healthy weight etc. Brushing and flossing (used to be) part of keeping up with your health!  So it is so upsetting to read that these things I use in my mouth may cause cancer?!  UGH!   How is it that these things are allowed to even be sold?  Needless to say I ordered some non PFAS floss and am going to get some plain Crest toothpaste tomorrow.  Hopefully if there is any build up it can start breaking down some as time passes?  Why is it always something?

Yeah, yeah...I know.  Look when all my jewelry is sold (or mostly sold) I will be able to get back to blogging daily.  Heck I even forgot to file the sales tax return by the 20th. Ouch!  At least the federal returns were done.  The sales tax is quarterly and even though the store we have antiques at handles the sales tax, it does absolve me from filing the sales.  So.. not happy with having to pay the late filing penalty but I don't plan to forget that again.

Anyway, back to the work grind today. Looking forward to my sister from Ohio coming out to visit next weekend. She's staying for a week at my other sister's house and I took a few (well deserves) days off work to spend some family time together.  :-)

You may have noticed I didn't blog yesterday but it was more of the same.  LOL.  I went from one job to what feels like another job with the jewelry sale.  I have a lot of lists with items and names, and spent some time well nearly all the time after dinner gathering jewelry for people that are buying. There are a few gals who are getting over 100 pieces themselves, and that is a lot of jewelry to track down.  There is only one ring that I cannot find and I've searched all the Table bags (23 tables) but it is one of the gals getting over 100 pieces and I already told her about it.  It is bound to happen!

I got to thinking about it so much that I was up early this morning (got less than 6 hours sleep) so that I could get a jump start on continuing to divide out things.  So I got everyone's separated out, up to today's posted pictures at least.  I feel so much better finally about having a handle on it.  Tomorrow I will be posting the last of it.  There should be no more than 20 pieces or so left to go.  Then after this round is over and everything is out (most of the buyers are local so I don't have too many to ship to), I am going to delete all the tables and just list each separately again. I will keep the fashion fixes that haven't sold up but many of the tables only have 5 or less things left (Yippee!).

I had some relaxation time and did some singing on singsnap today. That was the most fun I've had all week!  Now the lack of sleep is catching up to me as I keep yawning.

This weekend is the Red Poppy festival in town but except for the music acts, a lot of the vendors are the same ones they have every month in town for market days so I didn't mind skipping it this year, especially since I had a goal of getting all my jewelry up for sale.

Well off to try to read a little and watch LIVE PD.  :-)

More of the same except skipped my exercise as my sneakers were still wet.  Work, eat, jewelry pics, tv, now headed to bed ;)

Today was torrential Thunderstorms, to the point that I had to shut down the computer for about 45 minutes.   I even had to clock out and shut down for a little bit.  But luckily no large hail or damage.

Today was a busy work day but I got everything done that I needed to.  Then after I was done work and before dinner, there was a nice local gal who came and took 62 pieces of Paparazzi off my hands.  Yippee!  It felt good to get rid of that many at that time.

This evening I took more photos of some of the rest.  I didn't get a chance to read any of the book I'm reading with my oldest, but between working and selling my jewelry, I don't stop until after 8PM or so and by then I just want to relax and watch TV.  I only really watched New Amsterdam this evening (has 15 minutes left actually at this point).

We may get some bad storms tomorrow but at least it will be during the day when the worst is to come through the area so I'm glad it won't be the middle of the night.

Sorry I didn't blog yesterday. Hope everyone who celebrates Easter had a good day.  We had a nice visit with the youngest and her husband.  Steak, crab legs, homemade apple crumb pie from scratch! Yum it was very good.  I had some leftover pie a little bit ago.

I am keeping this short though because I am busy with the jewelry selling.  There is suppose to be one gal coming tomorrow to get lots of jewelry. I have gone through the sold posts and pulled all the jewelry she wanted. I really , really hope she confirms with me and also follows through with all that she wants to buy.  It was such a pain organizing everything and now if everyone just takes what they say they will, it will all have been worth it :)

This morning I was up bright and early as the dogs were bugging me to get up. LOL.
I grabbed some coffee and then got dressed for the day as it was the women's luncheon today and I wanted to get to the farmers market in the morning to get some fresh vegetables for Easter dinner tomorrow.  I hadn't been there in a long time. It is nice supporting local farmers and getting fresh food!  I also got some pecans from a kindly older man. He was so friendly and talkative and once he told me I could freeze the bag or even part of it I thought that I'd get a bag.  I plan to make a pecan pie sometime.  Maybe I can make a really small one.

It was a beautiful day out today too!  Lunch was nice and I got to see a few gals I hadn't seen but once this year if that.  There were only 4 of us but it was still a good time.  I am so glad that I started that empty nester group!

When I got home from that I got back to taking pictures of my paparazzi jewelry.  I can see a light at the end of the tunnel..lol and am happy with my progress. The table pictures I took today also included individual photos of each piece.  I may go back and take separate pictures of each table but there are a lot of tables so not sure about that.

Tonight is LIVE PD night again.  :-)

I remembered that I didn't blog after I was already in bed with the lights off last night, so that wasn't going to happen. Yesterday was a bit hectic as it was a long work day interrupted by a vet appointment for one of our dogs, Tika which took close to 2 hours.  Then pizza when I got home and back to work for a few more hours. Then got caught up with a book I've been reading with the oldest, while watch LIVE PD and there you go.

Tika is okay I hope.  She has just been limping somewhat and her allergies (chewing her paws) do not seem to be helped much by the Zyrtec we give her every day. I agreed to some xrays of her front legs to make sure there were no fractures in the bones that were being ignored.  She only found several areas of arthritis setting in so I was glad to hear it wasn't anything major, just age related.  They also took some blood work just to check all her levels since she is over 12 and gave us a little Vetprofen for her joints.   She mentioned a allergy shot that can be given once a month during bad allergy months and we'll think about that.  I just hate the thought of shots given her age, wondering it will be harmful in some other way.  And she has no bad allergy months, all months are bad. LOL.  I'll write more tonight. Just catching up on my day yesterday.

Well, waking up on and off until after 1:00AM ugh.  It was windy but not terribly bad.  No hail. Not a ton of rain and don't get me wrong  was very happy that it wasn't bad after all, but I was very tired today because of fretting about it.  I think next severe storm warning I'll just go to bed as normal and if something gets really bad sounding then turn on the TV or cell phone.

I didn't take any pictures of the Paparazzi today. Right after work the contractor who is going to screen in our upper balcony was over to take some final measurements.  I am excited to get the balcony screened in.  I will definitely use it more then.  We haven't really used it at all since getting Bella since we've been afraid of her getting through the opening (from the 2nd floor).
Will post some before and after pictures when the time comes.  It is to be started 2 to 3 weeks from now.

By the time dinner was done, I just wanted to relax for the night so no photos taken. I'm getting close though, not too many more to go.

I'm tired so I'm going to shut down early.  Nite all!

Being spring here in Texas means that there is a good chance of severe weather in April and part of May as well including possible tornados and hail.  We have a Severe storm watch until 2:00AM tonight.  Wonderful.

I heard a weather man today on Facebook whom I really like, as he tells it like it is and doesn't try to instill undue worry in folks.  Anyway there was a spot where one could ask questions and this one lady indicated she was new in the area and lives in a 2 story house. She wondered if it was smart to stay on the 1st floor during a severe storm watch and he said yes it was a good idea.  I suppose it is, but we don't have a bedroom on the first floor, well my office was my mom's bedroom but there is no bed in there anymore but rather a large desk and a fainting couch.

We have never stayed on the first floor yet since moving here close to 14 years ago whenever there was a storm coming.  It isn't that I don't think it is safer because it likely is, it is just that to sleep on the floor in the living room just in case will make it hard to sleep and may cause a tiring day tomorrow.

So we are planning on sleeping in our bedroom as normal but I am going to leave the TV on until the worst of it passes (hopefully before 2AM ?) in case there are any severe storm warnings (which are upgrades from watches).  I may take my phone upstairs too but I won't keep it on a I don't want to hear noises from it (well don't want hubby to hear pinging and get annoyed).  I guess I could turn the volume all the way down.

I really hate storms at night. When you can't see what is going on outside it really can be scary.  Here's hoping it comes and goes quickly and doesn't cause any damage.

Nothing really to blog about today.  Tomorrow late night, currently between 10PM - 2 AM we may get some severe storms with hail and high winds. Lovely.  :-(    Fingers crossed it won't be bad.

Monday back to work day.  It was a nice morning to walk. I can see it getting lighter just a little bit earlier. :-)

I was wondering if it would be hard to get back into the groove after a long weekend but it was actually a good day.  I had a full schedule of work but that is okay as it made the day go by quickly.

I managed to get 3 more tables of jewelry set up, photographed and listed on my facebook group so I'm happy enough with that.  If I can do 3 tables a day I should be done by this weekend.

We plan to get the trim on the house painted but we got to thinking over the weekend or maybe I did.  What I'd really like more than anything is to get the back balcony screened in.  We don't use it anymore because it either has wasps nests or we don't go because of the dogs (worried they will get through the holes along the bottom), and so if we got it all screened in, we wouldn't have to worry about wasps and most bugs most likely, as well as the dog's safety.  Heck I may be even able to grow some vegetables up there again.  It would also stay a bit cleaner I think.  With screens not every particle of dirt will get on the balcony. LOL.

The house where I grew up had a screened in porch above the garage (and directly outside our kitchen) and I enjoyed being out there.  It would be great to have something like that again.  We had one company out today and should have an estimate in a few days from them.  I hope it will be affordable.

Today I spent a good part of the day taking photos of the jewelry that I am selling.  It is amazing to me how pushy some people are.  One gal wanted several pieces which was great and she only lives 30 minutes away.  The problem is I told her yesterday that I am trying to get organized and so can only show her what I have photos for.  So today I did take 7 tables worth of photos and sent them to her. She picked several things she wanted and was to come tomorrow after I got done work.

Then she said she wanted to see all of what I had. I told her I couldn't.  She wasn't getting me. She doesn't understand that I can't do that yet. I have things in drawers, boxes, my bling bag, etc.  I am not having someone go through all those things, willy nilly.  I suggested she come and get the 37 or so items she wanted and come back again when I have photos of everything. She indicated she wasn't about to drive 30 minutes again.  Wow, many people drive 30 minutes or more to work every DAY.
Bottom line, I told her to forget it. I don't get how impolite people can be.  I'd just as soon throw all this jewelry out than sell it to those kind of people.

I did sell 3 other piece online and I still have like I said many things to still take pictures of, but all in good time.  I put each of the 'tables' jewelry in a bag with the table # written on it. This way once I'm done I will have a much easier time finding things that people want. I don't really care how long it takes either. I refuse to be pushed about it too.  Oh did I mention she is a fellow rep?  I'm finding out they can be the worse.

We saw a pretty good movie on Netflix today too.  It was called No Escape and I enjoyed the break from the jewelry drama. It had a lot of suspense and action (though not the special effects kind).

Of course I kept thinking today was Sunday since I took off work yesterday. So that was fun to keep forgetting. LOL.   I concentrated on posting my jewelry on sale today and got a few responses.  I was able to sell a gal 7 pieces @ $3 each who came to my home which was nice so I didn't have to mess with packaging up and mailing. There are a few others interested.  One wants a nice seed bead necklace and I'm getting back with her tomorrow.

This evening we ate a hamburger place called Five Guys.  Hubby had eaten at one a few times back in PA but I never have been at one.  One thing that was nice was they had peanuts that you could eat while waiting for your food.  You could just take a little cardboard container of unshelled peanuts and take them to your table. That was a nice touch.  The burgers were not cheap and I really didn't think they were spectacular.  I actually like Burger King burgers better.  The fries were good though, reminding me of boardwalk fries.  We're not planning to go back there any time soon but it was nice eating at a new place (for me) for a different place to go.

I'm going to get back to watching Live PD, the thing we watch on Saturday nights.  We like to see our county being represented.  :)

Today was one of those days when one thing led to another.

I was up at 6:00AM for my walk with my friend(s) as usual even though I had off today as I was looking forward to having a full day to get stuff done.

I started off with the tax return and worked on double checking figures a little while. Then I got dressed for the day and made myself a smoothie.  I wanted to get outside and clean the black stubborn mold off the mail box as it was annoying me whenever I looked out the front window at the mailbox and seeing some of its limestone blackened. So out with a scrubber, vinegar and bucket I went to get the black off.   That lead to...  turning to walk toward the house and seeing all the thick dried Lantana branches that were never removed from last year. So I got the pruning shears and a trash bag and took care of that.  When I was headed to the garage I wondered why my fitbit hadn't alerted me that I hit my 10,000 steps already.  UGH! I forgot I had taken it off to charge after I was checking my email when I was drinking coffee (after the walk) because my email indicated it was getting low.  So whatever my total tonight will be it will be far short of what it would have been had I left it on all day.  It is at 12159 now....wonder what the true number of steps is.

Then I came back in to work on the taxes in my old office that lead to...me straightening things, stacking a few more bins (making more space) and getting rid of some stuff I no longer need (like empty paparazzi wraps).  I did get my taxes done and they are mailed.  That was nice to finally get that done!

I went to get lunch from the fridge...which lead to...me cleaning it out and wiping down all the shelves and chucking food that was never eaten...which lead to... a sink full of dishes so I proceeded to do all the dishes.

I put some laundry in and then came down to gather the tax papers and some new receipts and such for 2019. I went to my current desk and sorted out the papers and put all of the tax related stuff in one folder and the 2019 stuff in a new folder.  That lead to... me straightening out my desk as it was getting cluttered...it had some papers that needed to be taken care of, jewelry that was here and there, paper clips, bank statements, etc.  So that got all done.  Then it was back to laundry and a 2nd load.

I was then going to take some more pictures of some Lularoe and Paparazzi to sell in the discount facebook groups but I don't feel like doing any more work.  So I am blogging early for once and about to order dinner for us.   :)

Today was my Friday in that I have tomorrow off.  I'm very happy about that.  My goals for tomorrow are to finish my taxes and take more photos of lularoe and post some of those and my Paparazzi for sale.  I do want to relax and have some me time too.  I forgot to tell my friends about my day off so I'll get up at my normal time tomorrow and get my walk in with them.  I don't mind though because that way I'll have the whole day in front of me.

We ate at Cotton Patch this evening for dinner.  We hadn't been there in a long time.  It was just okay. We did split an order of bacon, cheese fries and that was pretty good though.  I brought some leftover shrimp/rice/vegetables to eat for lunch tomorrow.

I felt compelled to email Paparazzi again today because I did not hear anything back from the email Thursday that I sent to cancel my consultant agreement.  They did respond today so I'm glad that is finally official.

I also called Allstate directly because we didn't hear back from my our agent yesterday after hubby called him and I emailed him.  I needed them to know we wanted our insurance cancelled.  I was told I have to do it through my agent which I thought was ludicrous.  He finally did email me to write he was sorry we were leaving. Oh well.  If I cared about his service to others I would tell him he should never bluntly write to a long time client that they don't insure vehicles titled in a Trust. He was even casual friends with my hubby who sold and bought a few antiques to/from.  He should have reached out and called about it and done so after checking for certain that they don't.  I don't know why they don't yet the other nationally known insurance company we switched to has not problems with it being titled in the Trust.  Interesting.

Well I made it to 100 posts so far this year!  Go me!  So some of them, okay most of them haven't been chock full of good stuff but hey I never said I led an exciting life, did I? I just said I'd blog everyday.

We had an adventure today with Bella.  A groomer that we've used in the past agreed to come over after she was done work and groom her for us.  She brought 2 muzzles. One was perfect size for her mouth but she kept trying to bite her, even though I was holding her.  She then got a larger one that she managed to get on while I was holding her mouth shut and put the smaller one over top of it. It wasn't pretty but it did the trick.  Oye!  She just would not let us do anything which is why it was necessary.

Anyway after that was done we both stayed out in the garage where we had set up a table for the groomer and she did her thing.  She really did a great job and Bella has never looked so nice. She trimmed most of her body and even used the clippers on her stomach and underneath her nails (where all the hair grows between the pads).  She did start to calm down but we didn't dare take the muzzle off until she was done.

I think what I'll do is ask the gal what brand the muzzle was and see about getting one and just trying to put it on her occasionally for very short times and then give her a treat so she gets used to it.  Then by the time we are ready to get her groomed again, we can put it on her beforehand and that may help.

She gets so stressed out about being groomed she poops herself.  But maybe that will improve too.  We hadn't attempted it since October so it had been 6 months.  I'd like to eventually get her into the habit of every 2 months  We'll see.  Maybe she'll even grow to enjoy it  It is a goal!  :)

Today has been my Friday eve' since I have Friday off this week.  Woo hoo!

It is 8:12PM and I can still see daylight outside.  The sun has not quite set and I'm loving the longer days!!  It also got up to the upper 80's today.  Nice!
Nothing else really new so keeping this one short.

9777 steps. There is a good chance I can make 10,000 steps today.  It was not raining this morning but there was lots of debris on the roadway with pollen and such so that was a little messy to walk in but it turned sunny and nice for the rest of the day.  I just checked at it is still 82 degrees at 8:00PM, so not bad.

Today was a typical Monday workday and we had spaghetti for dinner which is one of my favorites, even though I am not a kid anymore.  There is something about turning the noodles on my forks until I  have a nice mouthful and eating it up.  We put fresh shredded Parmesan cheese on it too which adds a nice finishing touch.

I noticed the kitchen sink rug was wet when I walked on it looking around for dessert. I bent down and sure enough Bella had peed on it. I checked another spot at the other end and she went there too.  UGH!  Her pee pad is only about 4 feet from that.  And we have the doggy doors open.  We like having a rug by the sink so we are not going to just not use one.  I don't know how to get her to either just use her pee pad or outside.  It drives me nuts!!  Luckily so far the only rug she uses is the kitchen sink rug.  We have others throughout some rooms.  But I am at a loss as to how to get her to stop going on that rug.  We've replaced it twice already too with brand new, and that is after cleaning the floor underneath too.  She doesn't go on it right away but after a week or so there's a spot...

We've resigned ourselves to the fact that she s going to keep needing a pee pad. Trust me, we've tried none and she peed in a few other places too including the floor so we have to use them.  Let's just hope we can somehow break her of using the kitchen rug as her other pee pad.  :-(

This morning it was another round of thunderstorms and I worked a little bit today so I was hoping that we wouldn't lose our electric.  Luckily we didn't.  It finally started clearing up about noon.

They shouldn't be saying on the news for a little while anyway that we are still in a drought at least.  Although they'll probably say that it came so fast and hard that it all ran off and it is still too dry out there.  Ever notice that it is never just 'perfect' out there? :)

Today was laundry and reading day.  Since we were gone most of yesterday this weekend went by way too fast though.  Actually this year is moving by quickly.  It is somewhat hard for me to believe that it is already April.  I am going to start putting in for some days off so that hubby and I can maybe do some partial day trips.  And one of my sisters is coming to visit in May so I will take a few days then.

Today we helped the youngest and her hubby move into their first house they just had settlement on this past Monday.  It was supposed to rain so we went down early and didn't drive into very much rain at all.  It rained some when we were putting stuff in our car to help and the moving went well, thanks to 4 guys that Chad works with that really helped carry down the heavy furniture from the 2nd floor.

We got stuck in traffic and the trip home was twice what it should have been.  It took 3 hours and I drive stick shift so my clutch foot was getting really tired (I hardly ever have to drive these days).

When we got home it looked like it had rained a lot.   The back yard where the flagstone is looked like a pond with all the water in it.  Hubby unclogged the drain and I took this short video.

There were lots of snails out and I got a few pictures of some that looked like they were totally out of their shells but the still were connected.

Friday night, already?  Yup!

Well today was a little longer work day but it was fine and relatively productive. I knew I'd have pizza and beer to look forward to.

It was a cloudy but nice day today.  It got up over 80 degrees.  Tomorrow there is a good chance of rain but it is needed.  I noticed our back yard has a lot of cracks in the dirt.  I didn't think it was that dry yet but apparently it is.  There is a big 10K run on Sunday in Austin too and hopefully that will go okay as it draws a huge crowd for that event.  I don't run so I won't be going.  The most  I ever do is walk with maybe a very short jog.  I have never been a runner, not even in school.

Way back in my youth we were required to take gym class.  I don't think that is required any more.  Anyway we'd play various sports at different times of the year and when we practiced track we'd have to run around the track and I would get so winded that I had to stop and could barely walk. I didn't have any clue about how to pace yourself with a slower jog and so the hatred of running was born during my teen years. I did like the hurdles though (short distances) and short sprints like the 50 yard dash.

Sometime next week I have to finish up our taxes.  I forgot about the jury duty until my sister reminded me about it. We actually were both called to the same jury selection time in December.  I got picked for the jury but she did not.  Anyway it really didn't occur to me that we had to declare that income but I'll make sure I do.  I'm sure many others don't even give it a thought either and forget to declare it.  When you don't get a 1099 or W2 for something it doesn't come to mind.

Post..#94..2019

Today was what I call a transition day.  :-)

We went to the DMV and got the car titles back in our names, although they don't do the names with OR between them, there does exist a form that we signed that makes it so that when the time comes, we don't have to go through probate to transfer title.  The gal behind the desk was very surprised that there were any issues with our insurance agent as she said a lot of folks change their vehicle titles into their Trust.

Then we got the insurance today, so soon the old insurance agent will be dropped.

The other transition is that I printed out the letter that I need to sign and send to Paparazzi
tomorrow to end that business. I have tons of inventory to get rid of but once I'm no longer a rep, I can go on the same Buy/sell/trade groups that I'm trying to sell some Lularoe on to sell my jewelry at a discount.  I'll just take my time doing it whenever I'd like.  I only have 2,093,443,819 pieces to go. :-)

Though a part of me feels bad and a bit defeated about the Paparazzi, I will just have to get over it and decide to be happy with the decision I made.  The weight of that pressure being off my mind will be a good start too.

On a good note the booth we have at the antique mall is really starting to make us some money (more than the rent), so that is very cool.  We had picked up a 2nd booth last fall thinking that would help  but then dropped it last month after realizing it wasn't helping.  We weren't selling more than what the 2 booth rentals cost.  It is nice to actually be making money, though this means we'll have to start putting some aside for income taxes on that too if we're going to show a profit on next year's tax return.

Hump Day!!  Tomorrow it is supposed to be hot.  It may get to the upper 80's.  This weather has been so weird.  It didn't get above 65 degrees here today.  Monday morning was 40 degrees. It is just all over the place. But I'll take the warm weather tomorrow, even though it is not a walk day.

Well after about 3 1/2 years I think I am going to cut my losses and end my Paparazzi jewelry business.   I have had lives for nearly 6 months with very little audience and Sunday was to me the final straw.  There was another consultant who sent me a message on my Facebook page asking if I had two fashion fix sets (set of 4 matching jewelry pieces) from a live I did a few weeks ago.  I did have those and she asked me if I had a set that she sent me the picture to.  I spent 45 minutes going through all my inventory (and yes after 3 1/2 years I  have a ton of inventory), I did not find that third set.  I let her know that and she said that she'd take the original 2 sets she wanted.  Cool! A $40 sale was a nice little turn of events.

I told her I have to charge full price and she said she understood that.  I told her I'd give her a break and only charge $7.00 shipping and tax.  She thought that was a lot. Well I use priority padded mailers for that many pieces and that is more than $7 without any tax.  But since she complained, I told her I could send it in a different envelope regular mail for $4.50.  She was okay with that.  Again this all happened on SUNDAY during the day (when most folks would not work or if they did would not respond to people until after the weekend).  So I paypal billed her and thanked her.

Monday morning I check and see she told me she didn't want one of the two sets after all and could I send a new invoice.  So I changed the invoice and sent the new one.

Fast forward to today.  It is Wednesday and I've gotten no payment! This is from another representative who should know better than to be a horrible customer...well actually not even a customer. She was just someone who made a knee jerk decision to buy some jewelry and waste my time on a Sunday, with no intentions of ever buying any of it.  At this point I cancelled the invoice!  If she dares to contact me I'll tell her to go to hell.  So aggravating!

I haven't even opened the new fashion fix jewelry box I got last week.  I was going to just cancel getting the fashion fix each month but I think I've had enough disappointment with this business.  I am not cut out for direct sales.  I think if I ever do anything part-time in the future like after I retire, it will be something in the financial or mortgage field or something I think up for myself (that isn't a direct sale business that tons of other people are doing).

I wrote to my upline gal who is also a casual friend I've known for over 20 years now about my decision.  She actually didn't sound surprised at all and didn't try to talk me out of it.  I'm glad because I feel bad enough as it is. No one likes to feel like they just can't cut it when they've spent time and money for lots of inventory.

So another chapter in my Book ends.  LOL.

Tomorrow is hump day.. Yippee.  It is also suppose to be warmer for my walk. The low is 51 degrees which is better than 40 degrees!

Not much else to write about today, except we are definitely changing our insurance.  We can save close to $1000/yr and keep the cars in the Trust though I think we will change them back to our names, just so there are no problems in the future.

Oh, and we're going on 6 weeks for that gas issue in our town.  I feel for those businesses that have been closed for a month and a half and the displaced homeowners.  Feel very lucky though that none of our neighborhood was involved.

Post.. #91 ...2019

Today it was only 40 degrees out when I headed out for my walk.  It was cold but not really too bad as it wasn't a bit windy.  It did start to show a little bit of sun rise through the clouds around 7:00am.  Only need to give it about 3 weeks and it will be pretty light fairly early again an get better and better until late summer.

It was a busy day at work but got a lot accomplished.  Then hubby made a wonderful pork fajita dinner with rice, onions, green peppers..yum!!  It was a very nice meal after a hard day of work.

A little reading, a little prime time TV and ready to face another day.  :)
